This #ThrivingThursday, we’re excited to shine the spotlight (pun intended!) on Spotlight.com, the UK’s largest and most prestigious casting resource for performers. Whether you’re just starting out or further along in your career, this platform is an invaluable tool for those seeking to elevate their professional journey.
What is Spotlight?
Founded in 1927, Spotlight has a rich history of connecting talented performers with top industry professionals. With a database of over 70,000 actors, dancers, presenters, and stunt performers, it’s used daily by thousands of casting directors, broadcasters, production companies, and agencies. From major networks like BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 to independent production houses, Spotlight is the go-to platform for sourcing talent across film, TV, theatre, commercials, and voiceover work.
In 2021, Spotlight expanded its reach by joining the Talent Systems group, forming a global network for talent discovery, giving performers access to roles not only in the UK but across Europe and beyond.
